Michelle T. Sikes, Esq.
Michelle Sikes represents individuals and non-profit health care providers, specializing in elder law, mental health law, estate planning and probate. She represents children in cases of divorce, custody and guardianship of minors. On behalf of medical facilities and protective service organizations, she obtains guardianships and Rogers orders for mentally ill and physically incapacitated adults as well as protective orders for elders who have been abused. She provides legal support to Baystate Medical Center, Holyoke Medical Center, Franklin Medical Center, Wing Memorial Hospital and Highland Valley Elder Services.

Prior to joining Schmidt Law Offices, Michelle served as judicial law clerk for the Western Division of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court in Boston, Massachusetts, focusing on complex legal issues raised in domestic relations and estate matters. From 2002-2004, she assisted in civil and criminal defense cases as a law clerk for the firm of Donahue & Cross, PC, in Springfield, Massachusetts.
